Sharlyne holds her master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Central Florida (UCF). She competed as a D1 athlete for the Knights in cross country as well as various middle-distance events in track and field. During her graduate studies at UCF she was hired as a Graduate Assistant coach while also working for the prestigious Rippe Health Institute facilitating health assessment testing and executive physicals.
After graduating, she worked for 8 years as the head Exercise Physiologist at the USA National Training Center (NTC) located in Clermont, FL. She headed the physiology lab which conducted a variety of performance based testing such as lactate threshold and VO2max testing. In addition to heading the physiology lab, she performed functional analysis for elite and developmental athletes, orchestrated a variety of different sport camps, and created weight loss and running programs for NTC’s members. While working at NTC, she taught at UCF in the disciplines of Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning.
In addition to her work at Courts Plus, she works as a Fuel Coach providing nutritional and supplementation advice for Olympians, professional athletes and various clientele. Being a mother of three, she enjoys working with new moms, helping them get back to and surpassing their previous fitness levels. She also loves working with the everyday athlete, focusing on increasing their strength, mobility, and stamina.
